Volunteer at CAP

Research shows that children in afterschool programs have increased school attendance, are well-behaved, and see improvements in their schoolwork.

Did You Know?

Consistent participation in afterschool activities during the elementary school years is linked to narrowing the gap in math achievement by the fifth grade.

The presence of caring adult mentors in afterschool programs can also help children stay away from drugs, learn how to resolve conflicts the right way and increase social skills.

Volunteering at CAP gives you the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of children.

From preparing, delivering and serving meals to working one-on-one with the students, volunteers are always needed at CAP. At no personal expense, all CAP volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application and undergo a background check and fingerprinting.

Not enough time to volunteer?

Not enough time to volunteer?

If you would love to get involved with CAP but you don’t have the time to dedicate to being a volunteer, we have other opportunities that may interest you.  Andy, you get the idea here.  This is for those that want to volunteer but have little time to spare.  Maybe they can “give” a different way … by sponsoring an event.
