More About Mrs. Judith Burt
She attained degrees from both Allegheny College and Tennessee State University, with an emphasis in School Administration and Supervision. Since retirement, Mrs. Judy has continued to give back to the community around her including volunteering as a Tennessee Long Term Care Ombudsman, visiting nursing homes to ensure quality care.
More recently, Mrs. Judy has been a reading tutor at Children Are People, Inc. (CAP) dedicating her time and efforts in a one-on-one setting for the benefit of a child in great need of a reading specialist. After approaching Mrs. Judy only one time, she gladly accepted the challenge and has made a tremendous difference in the life of one special fifth grader.
Judy is the wife of Dr. Alvin Burt, who is also a tutor at CAP. She enjoys spending time with their two dogs and painting beautiful artwork. We love you Ms. Judy. Thank you for making a difference every day!
