Because CAP is community-funded instead of government-funded, we are able to maintain our independence.
But we need your help to keep doing what we do.
Children who need us the most are often the least able to afford a fee-based service. With your help, we are able to provide our programs for free. Students that pass through CAP become adults who make a difference in their communities and have a lasting impact on the future.

Nyahoth Kuoth
Nyahoth graduated from Gallatin High School in 2021, in the middle of a pandemic. She didn’t let that stop her. Ever since she came to CAP in 2017, she has had one goal, to become a lawyer. She has not waivered in that goal and she is now a presidential scholar at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. She is pursuing her undergrad degree in (—waiting to hear from her!!) She’d love to attend law school at Duke University. Nyahoth is the oldest of six children.
